When possible, Kap-Lind provides the ability to engrave more, especially on larger urns.

For longer names and messages, font size may be reduced to fit engraving on the urn.

How long of a name can I fit on an urn?
An engraving typically involves 25 characters per line. Three to four lines are recommended for the smaller urns. More info on engraving

How is shipping & handling processed, and how much does it cost?
We offer shipping service via UPS. The shipping charge will vary depending on the urn selection, but ranges between $12.95 to $16.95 for a single urn with standard UPS Ground delivery.

Options include:

• Ground. 5-7 business days
• 3-Day. 3 business days (additional charges apply)
• 2-Day Air. 2 business days (additional charges apply)
• Next Day Air. 1 business day (additional charges apply)

 

When will I get my order?
The general guidelines for UPS Ground delivery are listed above. Because Kap-Lind manufactures our products in the United States, we offer same day shipping on ALL orders (custom engraving and stock) received prior to 12 PM CST. Exceptions would include proof verification on engraving or large stock orders (20+ pieces).

How Can I determine the size of urn needed?
The general rule with respect to cremation is that one pound of healthy weight for the departed is the equivalent of one cubic inch of cremated remains. If you are placing the urn or memorial within a niche, you may also want to consider the dimensions of the urn with respect to the dimensions of the niche.

Are your urns for human or pet remains?
Kap-Lind provides urns that meet/exceed standards of the human and pet cremation industry. These urns are made with exceptional care and carefully chosen material for your customers loved ones remains—human or pet.

Do you offer urns that are appropriate for infants or teenagers?
Yes, our urns come in a variety of sizes intended for your specific requirement.
